(96x72”. acrylic on canvas. 2020)
I spent most of 2020 to finish this piece; it was quite a journey in creating this large painting.
Being inspired by the hills and the wind, I wanted to capture nature’s beauty and “unpredictability” at the same time. I was influenced by the terrain of Mountain Cove in Salt Lake City, Utah where the rigid, huge rocks created what I call “Elysian Echoes.” My goal was to express the changing colors and the calmness of this place.
