Begining Stage
2019 Studio Scenes: Beginning Stage
An important inspiration in my process is from the scraps of canvas I use to experiment.
Before approaching the real canvas, I test colors, brushes, weight of strokes and viscosity, on a small piece of primed canvas.
At the end, the scraps really look like a piece of art.
Sometimes I hang those scraps on the wall for inspiration. A lot of artists get inspiration from seeing other people’s work, going to exhibitions or looking through art books.
When I begin a new series I do not look at work from other artists so that I do not get influenced by their ideas.
